Postponement FAQs


When will the new date be announced? 

The Derby 10K will now take place on 25th October 2020.

Subject to the lifting of current government and advice and information on the resumption of professional football which could affect the availability of Pride Park Stadium, the race is scheduled to start at 9am as initially planned, with all other aspects of the race including the route, parking and baggage facilities remaining unchanged.

I’m not sure if I’ll be able to race on the new date, what can I do? 

All runners have the option to confirm their place or to transfer their entry to another competitor by clicking on the 'Confirm Your Place' link.

If neither of these options are suitable for you, please contact us on so we can assist you on an individual basis.

I couldn't run on the 29th March, but am available on 25th October. Are you taking new entries? 

For now our priority is to ensure all current runners are given the option to confirm or transfer their places. When this is done and we have more clarity from the government and the Football League regarding fixtures, new entries will be made availble (dependent on availabilty).

I received my original race pack, what shall I do with it? 

All race packs started being distributed before the race postponement was confirmed. We ask all runners to store their packs safely as these will be used for the postponed date. If you are not able to race on the postponed date there will be dedicated return points put in place to help us re-use packs and reduce our environmental impact. 

I’ve received my 10K pack but not any fun run entries, what do I do? 

Fun run entries are not distributed by post and will be available for collection in the week leading up to the new race date. 

I entered the race as a late entrant (after 10.00am on 28th February), will I receive my pack? 

Late entries are not distributed in the post so your pack will be available for collection in the week leading up to the new race date.  

I’ve lost my race pack, what can I do? 

We will be hosting re-registration points in the week leading up to the new race date. We will replace race numbers free of charge but unfortunately will not be able to replace any lost T-shirts due to limited stock. 

I have received my race pack and want to change my T-shirt, will this be possible? 

Once we have a new date announced we will pick up on all other race related queries including T-shirt sizes, estimated running times, wave numbers etc. We will be more than happy to answer these questions but at this time cannot give them our full attention.
